WMFVA Board Members End Terms

This is always a tough time of the year terms end for board members we have grown to trust and count on, love and respect. This year is no exception. And even though we are excited about the new board members who will take their seats on the board in February, its fitting that we pause to say farewell.

Two of our officers, Kim Crozier, Vice-Chair, and Liz Merriman, Secretary, are among those leaving. They contributed creative counsel for three years on the Executive Team and managed our membership and marketing goals with passion and enthusiasm. Gabriel Del Castillo and Dawn Butler served as Members at Large. Gabriel worked on our membership and our grants teams. Dawn is completing two terms, thats six years of service arranging our annual member picnics and parties.

"I have been honored and privileged to work with each one of them," said WMFVA Chair Deb Havens, "and as a team, they made meeting our goals more fun than work. I'll miss them all." When you see the departing board members at our special 10th Anniversary events, please say thanks. They did it all without pay to build the film and production community in West Michigan in other words, for you.
