An award-winning filmmaker (short narrative)she worked at the Grand Rapids Art Museum as Marketing & PR Director and GoSite Project Director, where she acted as co-creator of Michigan Film Festival and Michigan Film, Art & Literature Symposium, collaborated on numerous projects with WMFVA and other film/video entities during 8 year tenure with GRAM.  She is currently an Entertainment writer for Women's Lifestyle Magazine and Revue Magazine.  During her time with Turner Pictures in Los Angeles, CA, she worked as executive assistant to president of production Amy Pascal,  later head of Sony Pictures.  She has also worked as Marketing Director for Levy Music & Video/Summit Entertainment, Michigan & New York,  a company that produced numerous marketing videos with top entertainers (Weird Al Yankovic, Garth Brooks, etc. - yes, this was clearly the 90s).

Kerri's ties to the Alliance go back to the beginning. "I am a founding member of the WMFVA since 2005, and always supportive of the Alliance, and now that I stepped away from my position at the art museum to dedicate more time to teaching and consulting, I am also making time to increase my volunteer service with organizations I believe in - I am excited to get to work with the board and members of WMFVA and help launch the next decade of success and value for our film/video community. I bring a proven history of commitment to the West Michigan film and video community, notable achievements in collaborative projects involving numerous stakeholders/coalition building, and professional skills in marketing and strategic planning for greater impact and outcomes."
